My normal commute is about 8 miles of divided highway, 18 miles of interstate, and then 6 miles of suburban traffic to the office, opposite going home.

This IS the first fill, and I usually stop filling on the first nozzle click. I try to go to the same pump to minimize nozzle shut off variation. I neglected to take a pic after the fill, but I did see a couple segments in the low 60's during the tank, but I'm still getting used to this beautiful machine.
One of the first albums I REALLY enjoyed was The Very Best Of Marc Cohn. (Managed to score some tickets to see him April 23rd in Richmond!!)
I recently replaced my 2012 with a 2013 HSH. The car never goes into EV mode at highway speeds. Wayne told me they changed the programming on these, but I still an having a difficult time accepting that this car is right.

Here is a video of what it is doing. This is on a 10 mile flat section of freeway with an elevation change of 12 feet. 60 degree outside temp, slight tail wind, windows up, HVAC and all accessories are off.
At 2:09 into the video the SoC reaches 95%, for the duration of the trip there and back, the car never went into EV except when decelerating on the off ramp....
Of course I can get it to go into EV at any point between 50 and 75%, but have yet to see it charge above 75% or go below 50% unless I'm "forcing" it to.
2) I take my kid to school every morning. It is a very short trip, approx. 2 mile round trip, about 50/50 uphill/downhill. I realize the car will get it's worst mpg at this point, BUT is 5 to 10 mpg what I...
I have yet to get a chance to test it out, but is it best to drive in blue once warmed up at highway speeds or is black better? I notice my indicator shows I am being "less efficient" when I have the cc set on flat road and i switch from blue to black. It is odd to see that however because I notice my dial for mpg goes up a blip or two. Anyone have any concrete results yet?

Im very confused as I thought blue drive is more fuel efficient, and thats what the manual says as well.
