Is the Hummer H2 dead? If not, does it need to die?

    Rumors are spreading like wildfire about the future of the Hummer H2. Some have reported the boxy full-size SUV was to be overhauled relatively soon, getting an updated and heavy-duty-ized GMT900 platform -- the one that currently exists underneath the new Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Yukon XL, Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Avalanche, Silverado 1500, Sierra 1500, and Sierra Denali. Others are saying GM will kill the beast (or fashion statement) as soon as three years from now.
