that sounds like good news even if the dbase can't work with the new forum, at least the data can be extracted so we'll have our records, right?
I've taken a look through the database and don't see anything that looks like mileage logs. It might not be possible to extract the data The best I can think of at the moment is to use the Internet Archive and copy the data out from there. I have also looked thoroughly and there is nothing that looks like mileage logs. It may be stored somewhere else. Mike, that link does work, just replace the username at the end. Individuals can use this to manually retrieve their lost data.
That's quite disappointing since I got my current car in 2014. But it does seem like the mileage log is somewhere on the server since members' MPG banners still work.(?)
Well, that's a shame. To be honest, I had pretty much given up anyway and figured it would be a nice bonus if they were able to be reinstated though. I for one can start fresh, so if a new logging section were created, I'd use it. I also have my old records elsewhere if I wanted to enter them in here for the Echo.
I have all my data on an xcel ;-) file and could re-enter the data. Is there a chance we can just have a new mileage log? Or do we now and I just haven't seen it?
