Hey everyone! I just have 2 questions. 1. How come the mileage on my signature is different from my last tank mileage? I have always wondered why but just havent bothered to ask untill now (lazy me). 2. How on earth do i put a pic next to my name? Iv tried figured this out before but I have no idea. Thanks for your help!
I've just read through the thread, now I know how 'history' images work, I changed my sig too. Also I set it to mpg for now, the numbers are more accurate (3 3 2.8 L/100 looks boring) For echoman - the sig shows a lifetime average by default. By adding a 'his' prefix to the .png name you'll get a history one like mine now. Adding a (capital) 'L' suffix makes its units l/100km. (I've just checked your mileage log and I found a '0 gallon' tank, you probably forgot to fill the amount of fuel in the form or probably you lost the data?)
Thanks alvaro84, I didnt know that. I deleted the 0 gallon tank. I When it comes to posting the mileage, I dont mind showing it in MPG. L/100km is what I would normally use but I am familiar with both. But I do prefer litres and km instead of gallons and miles. Any advice on the picture?
Echoman, click on the link named "User CP" at the far left of the second, horizontal, navy blue line on the site. Once there, just to the right of the menu bar you'll see a column labeled "Control Panel" with a list of links. The 6th one from the top is "Edit Avatar" and it will let you set the picture.
Hi, I finally got my mileage log set up and the signature is there but I still can't get it to show the history view. I tried the edit signature box but it did'nt work. Could someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks
Hi, PuddleGlum! You've got the right link but you need to put IMG tags around it like this: [NOPARSE][/NOPARSE]
Thanks Right Lane Crusier. One other question. Does the mileage log use a fixed percentage for combined mileage or does it change based on the percentage inputs in the mileage log? Thanks.
Hi -- it is a fixed straight average of the two numbers (so it assumes 50% city and 50% highway). Good looking signature banner, by the way!
You left off the rest if the string. Most bracketed "tags" must have a matching closing copy with a "/" in front if the word in the bracket. You've got the first URL tag specified but you need to put the IMG tag (as seen in the example) after it and then follow up with the [NOPARSE][/URL][/NOPARSE] tag to finish it.
sorry, you are so talking greek to me.LOL i tried to follow the example that was posted earlier, but don't know (by lookin) what i am doing wrong. guess i'll go back over the thread and see what i am missing.
Add this to what you already have: http://www.cleanmpg.com/garage/images/3732.png[/img][/url] and put in front of the http or his3732.png will show you the log I have with your 6mo, 3mo, 1mo, and lifetime averages.
