One of the reasons I don't put bumper stickers on my car is they tend to get noticed when I drive badly. Well, I do have as a sign, www.cleanmpg.com on the back glass panel and drive respectably... My story: For some screwball reason over the past five years, drivers seem to think the standard way to exit a freeway is slam the accelerator, cut in front of people, exit. Saw one this week that stood out. Bumper sticker read: SUPPORT THE TEXAS STATE TROOPERS. Right - they need to issue more citations.
Yesterday afternoon I was plodding along in the Right lane as usual and this person really tailgated for several miles and when we crossed the exit sped up to pass me to exit. Her license plate numer was: SAFETY Go figure!
Evil Fantasy I'd love to do a show along the lines of Candid Camera: Driver makes a patently rude freeway move It's caught on videotape, including the licence number. The driver is pulled over and asked why they did it The part I LOVE: Will they fess up to doing the inexcusable?.....or will they make assine lame excuses? Experience has shown that pride makes an utter fool of many people - they know they were an absolute jerk and everyone else that saw it, yet they will deny it.
