First Flint-Built 2011 Chevrolet Heavy-Duty Pickups Head for Dealerships

2011 Chevrolet HD P/U?s ? 19 mpg from a P/U capable of hauling 10-tons is not bad. They are the destinations for the first new, beefed-up 2011 Chevrolet Silverado HD pickups out of the Flint Assembly Plant where production began Monday. Members of UAW Local 598 put the finishing touches on the first truck, a red, regular cab Silverado HD. It is headed to Rodas Chevrolet in Strawberry Point, Iowa, a town that has a population of 1,400 and boasts the world?s largest (artificial) strawberry.
