Five-millionth Toyota sold in Australia

Toyota celebrated the one-millionth Corolla sold in Australia in September of 2007. David Buttner and Toyota staff celebrated the milestone with the current-model (at the time) Corolla Levin ZR hatch and a race-car version of the first-generation Corolla. Australian motorists have paid Toyota the ultimate compliment by purchasing the five-millionth Toyota vehicle in the country. The milestone was achieved during the past month - although it is impossible to determine the exact date, the specific vehicle or the customer according to Toyota of Australia.
