The 2012 Chevrolet Sonic with the 1.4L Turbo and tall ratio’ed stick - $17,195 as tested with a 29/40 mpgUS city/highway rating. Chevrolet’s new entry in the B-Segment is not about to set the world on fire but it may attract far more attention and possibly sales from the hotly contested B-Segment competitors than its predecessor, the Aveo. While the Aveo sold well over the years, it was only because it was relegated to price leader status on dealership lots around the world thanks to an outdated design that had not really changed since its release as a 2002.
