Nissan’s Nv200 BEV Testing Begins in Earnest

Poster: xcel (see this users gallery) The urban center based commercial vehicle market needs BEVs even more than we do! Nissan will begin proving tests beginning this month of a battery electric vehicle (BEV) based on its compact commercial vehicle NV200 platform. For the first phase, the Japan Post Service will be the first use an Nx200 BEV during its daily course of business. One of test vehicles will be expected to carry out postal collection and delivery tasks for approximately two months in the city of Yokohama, Kanagawa prefecture. Later, similar proving tests will be carried out both in Japan and Europe, where similar evaluations will be carried out with other companies.
