With Fuel Costs Rising, FedEx Gets Serious About Saving Fuel

Poster: xcel (see this users gallery) Company is adding more than 4,000 new, more fuel efficient vehicles to their fleet. FedEx Express is continuing what the company calls a “holistic fleet approach” to fuel efficiency with significant expansion more fuel AND energy efficient vehicles. Within the next two months, FedEx Express will place 24 new BEVs into service, expanding to three new cities and more than doubling its fleet to 43 BEVs while growing the diversity of suppliers it uses for the vehicles themselves.
