Hot off the presses comes a Volkswagen release providing great detail on the manufacturers role in R&D for the next few decades. In cooperation with 6 project partners and the German Ministry of the Environment, VW presented the current status of the “Fleet study in electric mobility”. Originally initiated in July 2008, the goal of the project is to utilize renewable energy sources for electrically powered vehicles.
