Honda posted October sales of 98,811 vehicles, an increase of 19.8 percent based on the daily selling rate compared to October of 2009. Hondas year-to-date sales reached 1,011,247, an increase of 5.1 percent versus last year, also based on the daily selling rate.
Honda itself posted October sales of 87,800, an increase of 20.2 percent versus last year. The Accord was the top-selling Honda model for the month with sales of 24,344, up 8.8 percent, followed by the CR-V with sales of 18,040, up 19.4 percent, and the Civic with sales of 17,121, up 11.9 percent.
