The French National Institute of Solar Energy (Ines) and Toyota launched a solar station for Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles (PHV) close to Chambéry (France) this past Monday. The collaboration between the CEA-Ines and Toyota, and with the support of Ademe, this experimental platform prefigures the next generation of mobility with full sustainability as the goal. Notice the term full sustainability. Not partial sustainability, not somewhat sustainable, not no tail pipe emissions locally or when under EV but fully and truly sustainable.
