Pre-Race Action is Heating Up at the 78th running of the 24 Hours of Le Man

Poster: xcel (see this users gallery) Audi is in the Hunt Audi Sport Team Joest used the entire first day of practice for Le Mans 24 Hours to prepare for the race. The Audi drivers were not looking for the ultimate lap times in Wednesday’s first qualifying session. The Audi squad instead used the full six hours to evaluate different set-up options and tires for the race. Timo Bernhard was setting the fastest time. After the first qualifying sessions the three Audi R15 TDI prototypes are in 5th, 6th and 7th position respectively. Two further qualifying sessions are scheduled for Thursday evening.
