Poster: xcel (see this users gallery) 2010 Ford Mondeo Wagon – 40 mpgUS combined on the ADR/NEDC -- Bests the brand new Australian Toyota Camry by 7/10 of an mpgUS… Ford of Australia revealed an upgraded Mondeo incorporating their next generation diesel powertrain which is said to deliver substantially better fuel economy while improving performance. The new 2.0L TDCi turbo diesel engine uses up to 19 percent less fuel than its predecessor, while producing 161 HP and 251 lb-ft. of torque – an increases of more than 16 percent and six percent respectively.
