In order to meet growing customer demand for some of GMs hot-selling vehicles, Warren Transmission is adding over 100 new jobs to its second shift 6 speed operations.
Warren supplies transmissions for Chevrolet Equinox, Traverse, Malibu and Impala, Buick LaCrosse, Enclave and Lucerne and GMC Acadia and Terrain. This line-up includes some of the hottest selling vehicles in the United States. Through the first three months of the year, U.S. sales for Equinox have risen 130 percent, compared to the same period last year. LaCrosse sales are up 197 percent and Terrain sales are up 245 percent, compared to the vehicle it replaced, the Pontiac Torrent.
