Since our first look at Toyota’s CNG powered Camry Hybrid during the LA Autoshow last year, Toyota has taken the “not for public consumption” CNG fueled concept to an entirely new level. Toyota today introduced a Camry Hybrid that promises a “Ride on the wild side”. With partner Surfrider Foundation, they created a specially modified Camry Hybrid fueled by compressed natural gas (CNG). The Toyota Surfrider Camry Hybrid CNG is on display in the Environmental Lifestyle Zone of the Toyota vehicle display at the 2009 SEMA Show. The Camry Hybrid CNG pushes the envelope of alternative fuel possibilities.
