Audi Efficiency Challenge Day 6 – Berlin

Poster: xcel (see this users gallery) The A3 Sportback 1.6L TDI pulled a best of the day 81.1 mpgUS and set a fuel economy record for the tour. The high-performance sports models were not to be left out as an Audi S4 achieved 30.1 mpgUS. This segment began on Sunday morning in Copenhagen, Denmark and headed south along the E55 highway. Accompanied by the warm sunshine, the group crossed the suspension bridge connecting Seeland with the neighboring island of Falster. On Falster, the E55 turns into a country road and diverts from the Vogelfluglinie (migratory bird route), ending in Gedser. The town has less than 1,000 inhabitants, but represents an important ferry port to Germany. A Scandlines ship brought the convoy to Warnemünde, taking a little under two hours to travel the almost 31 miles.
