According to Audi, Norway is a country for driving efficiently thanks to little traffic and strict (read beautifully low ) speed limits. Even on the main north/south highway, the E6, there is little traffic. The road is narrow and winding but with maximum 50 mph speed limits, the pace and your blood pressure are both well under control
For Day 4, a brand new and second wave of Journalists from Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain and Switzerland, as well as German customers of Audi made up the field. Two of these driver/navigators took the Audi A3 1.6L TDI to a very respectable 73.5 mpgUS while the Audi A4 2.0 TDI e pulled a decent 58.8 mpgUS over the 324 mile distance between Trondheim and Oslo.
