Largest Offshore Wind farm inaugurated by Denmark's Crown Prince

Poster: xcel (see this users gallery) 18-miles from shore, on an accommodation platform in the North Sea with an overview of 91erected wind turbines, Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark declared the Horns Rev 2 Offshore wind farm operational along with Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Prime Minister of Denmark, and Connie Hedegaard, Minister of Climate and Energy. Horns Rev 2 is a power construction masterpiece due to the challenging nature of the project. Namely, because this wind farm is built further offshore than any other wind farm in the world. Additionally, it is located in the North Sea which history has taken the lives of many attempting to tame the wind and the waves of this foreboding sea. This is also why safety is such an important part of the project.
