More digits to current-trip consumption display?

I would love to see more resolution to he current trip average. This would show me
more clearly if the average is increasing or decreasing, and at what rate.

If it steadily ticks from 6.56 l/100km -> 6.55 l/100km I would know that I'm on the right track.

If it only shows 6.6 l/100 km it would take 10 times as long for it to tick down to 6.5 - on average

Re: More digits to current-trip consumption display?

Do you have the new version with Xgauge? If so, you can program the trip average onto the gauge screen. Then you can have average and instant mpg (L/100k) together. If your instant is higher than the average, you're improving it. If it's lower, the average is going down.

I have seen this mentioned a few times but how would I program it onto the gauge screen ?
Thanks for any help.
