Now I'm tempted to try and make my tank stretch until the 12th so I can coast in there on fumes...

Let's see, I need to commute every day between now and Saturday, that's 30 miles a day, 120 in all, plus another 15, that's 135. 135 bare minimum. Probably 200 miles, really. Not a chance in hell although I'll certainly try.

Re: Cincinnati/N. Kentucky Hybrid/Hypermiler's Meetup April 12th

Small update--a reporter from Pulse DT, a local downtown magazine, gave me a call this morning. He asked some questions---what was hypermiling (getting the maximum fuel economy out of an automobile), what the goals and positive effects of hypermiling (national security, easier on the wallet, Ghg, etc...), what people do the most to waste gas (I said speed and hard starts/stops), and some other small-time stuff. I invited the guy to the meeting on the 12th.
