When is the Next Group Buy?

Kind of a stupid question -- answer is right over there "it's when enough people are IN"
But is there any sort of indicator of how close we are? How often do these things happen? Are there shipping and handling charges on top of the $150 (I assume so)...

Is there a "group buy" thread somewhere?

I definitely need to get one. But it wouldn't make sense to wait 6 months to save $10 on the unit when I can just buy it and start saving money on fuel by next week, you know what I mean?

I am new here, so it's entirely possible I'm missing something.
Hey, what I lack in experience I make up for in unbridled enthusiasm. How's that?

Re: When is the Next Group Buy?

The go to guy is Wayne, who is in Nebraska on a NYC to San Fran hypermiling trip....Laurie, let's ask Wayne next time he calls so we can possibly get him an answer before next week.

There is one going on now. Group buy #3. I think it's about halfway completed.

Re: When is the Next Group Buy?

Thanks for the link! Don't know why I couldn't find it through the search...
Maybe it should be a sticky?

Well, I didn't look in the 'for sale' section....

Re: When is the Next Group Buy?

Hi Dobsont:

___Sorry I was away when you first asked …

___When a GB starts, they usually only take a week or two to fill up. I usually start one after a request from one or members in fact At the end of each GB, LinerLogic sends me a few extras (with my $’s of course ) for those that may have missed the GB ship date and I can ship one or two out to a member without them waiting afterwards until I run out.

___Good Luck

___Wayne
