Re: Who Do you Want to Win the Super Bowl?

Boston has won enough things this year, rivers talks too much trash for a second year starting qb and I haven't liked eli since he whined about being in sd so he could get traded to ny. So i've got to go with the packers.

Of course I don't think GB will win, but it would be nice.

Anybody but the Pats. I don't like Brady, Belicheck or cheaters.

I'll give Brady a break - he does not let his girl friends boogy in the stadium wearing a pink #12 jersey.

Talking Re: Who Do you Want to Win the Super Bowl?

Funny story concerning the NFC Championship game: word got out that Eli Manning likes to relax Sat nights watching Seinfield, so the local Green Bay station announced they will not broadcast it tonight in hopes of giving the Packers a little edge. Jerry Sienfield heard about this and gave Manning a DVD collection of his shows.

Anyone know which two teams the networks are hoping go to the Super Bowl?

Re: Who Do you Want to Win the Super Bowl?

Anybody but the Pats. My ex loved the Pats, so naturally I hate them (not to mention I've got a chip on my shoulder about New England in general).

In this case, I'd have to go Packers, since I've always liked them, or Chargers since I'm a California naitive.

Re: Who Do you Want to Win the Super Bowl?

The game in Green Bay tomorrow is going to be another ice bowl. About -5 at kick off. Since Green Bay does not have the largest market, I'm sure the networks are hoping for anybody else. Now days it is all about the money and little about the sport. I can see the day coming when the NFL will demand that GB build an enclosed stadium.
