LOS ANGELES – At American Honda Motor Companies US headquarters in Torrance, CA yesterday, the unveiling of the “Panic At The Disco” customized and autographed Honda Civic Hybrid took place. Along with the customized HCH-II, a performance by the Las Vegas group was hosted by none other than Honda Civic Tour alum Mark Hoppus of +44 and Blink-182.
This year's Honda Civic Tour is deploying an all new environmental action plan. In the tradition of the past three Honda Civic Tours featuring the Civic Hybrid, the '08 tour is aimed at effecting positive environmental change. Different for this year is the Tour will visit primarily theaters and scaled-down arenas in the US and Canada. Tickets will be priced between $25 and $35, with $1 of every ticket sold going to the nonprofit but green-friendly tour partners Reverb or Global Inheritance. Being green does not get any easier than buying a ticket to the '08 Honda Civic Tour!
Panic At The Disco lead singer Brendon Urie said, "We're taking advice from Fall Out Boy, who headlined the Honda Civic Tour last year, on how to make this year's tour even better. Those guys set the bar pretty high, but we're really looking forward to hitting the road again and are definitely up for the challenge."
Produced by Marketing Factory, the Honda Civic Tour brings innovation and environmental consciousness to the masses by combining the hottest in automotive technology with the hottest in music.
Concertgoers can enter to win the customized HCH-II at each show or by registering at the official
Honda Civic Tour website.

Past Honda Civic Tour headliners highlighting the HCH include The Black Eyed Peas (06 HCH-II), Maroon 5 (05 HCH-I) and most recently, Fall Out Boy (07 HCH-II).
