Mike's Claim to Fame
Check out www.99mpg.com
Mike is the one behind the MIMA hack. It overrides Honda's conservative computer and allows the Assist to take a bigger load in propeling the Insight and recharging the hybrid battery pack. I think users have received a 20% FE gain.
Even with my recent OEM battery pack replacement, I'm considering getting one of these kits.
Mike, feel free to set me straight just in case the facts are mistated.

Re: New Member on Board:
Hi Phil:
___Yes, he created MIMA, PIMA, and now has a fifth wheel for pure EV in his Insight. Another month or two and it might be something big!
___Here he is just before a verification run on Saturday morning at the Tour Del Sol. He may not be smiling in the pic but he really is a nice guy
___Good Luck
___Wayne

Re: New Member on Board:
wow a 5th wheel huh that is pretty crazy can't wait to see what this person has to say about his inventions. Let alone learning how to make the best of them to the driver
