There is a banquet room as you walk in to the left. I'll get some fliers up so you know your in the right place.
La Salsa is just inside the Fairfield subdivision. Mason road is after Mueschke if on 290 westbound and after Bauer if on 290 eastbound.
Google Map
Agenda
-TBD
Hybrids:
-2007 Toyota Prius with EBH and Factory EVb
-2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrid.
-TBD
There are a few other places to eat if you want some other food.
I'll have my ScanGauge (fuel consumption display) so we can hook it up to your car to see real-time fuel usage. It works on most cars made after 1995. One thing that helps is knowing your engine size (displacement). This is usually represented in liters, cubic centimeters or cubic inches. An example would be a Mustang 5.0L V8.
Email or PM me and I'll pass along my cell number if you need it. I've created a new domain for the group called 106mpg.com.
Website: http://www.106mpg.com/106/clinics.html
Email: 106mpg@gmail.com
Meetings will always be held on the second Saturday of each month.

Re: Sat, Dec. 8th, Houston Hybrid and Hypermiler's Club
Shameless bump.
Also, The group has officially started to cost me real money (besides time and effort). Meetup.com cost $20 a month and the website cost about $20-$30 a year.
In the spirit of the upcoming presidential primaries, I've added a donation page for the Houston Hybrid Club. It can be found here:
http://www.106mpg.com/donate
Don't know if Meetup is worth it, but we'll see. I haven't seemed to get any hits on it in the last day or so, but I think they hold emails for 24 hours to prevent use as a communication port. For what it's worth, here's the Meetup post that you can RSVP to:

Re: Sat, Dec. 8th, Houston Hybrid and Hypermiler's Club
Ohh Sorry.
It's Zip format, great for Windows, probably not so great for Mac.
I think new versions of StuffIt and MacZip can open them.
The *.doc files are a 2003 Microsoft Office document. MS Office is available on Mac, but It's by no means free or installed by default.
I'll rip them to *.doc files to PDF as soon as I get a PDF ripper installed.
