Talking New MPG numbers

on fueleconomy.gov, my 2001 civic, 4sp auto, is now rated at 26/34 instead of the old 30/38 from the pre 2007 EPA guesstimates.

Makes me feel better about my FE! someday I'll be a hypermiler! Practice Practice!!

I still think they should real world test the vehicles to get numbers, at least on a track instead of a dyno.

Chris

Re: New MPG numbers

Hi Chris:

___Although you can input anything you want, we have in place that the 08’s and later need to be 120% above EPA combined for the same status as the 07’s and before. Don’t worry; you will get your recognition given what you are doing as of late

___Good Luck

___Wayne
