RPM/Speed Data?

I'd love if the ScanGauge could also show a number for the RPM/Speed so that people with slushboxes could get an idea of their slippage factors.

It's not new information... just taking RPM and dividing it by MPH or KPH depending on user preferences. It would sure be a lot easier for the ScanGauge to do it than to do it in my head when everything is changing constantly.

Any chance this could happen?

Re: RPM/Speed Data?

Wasn't custom gauges one of the reasons for the new firmware update? I think your idea would be possible by knowing how to make queries.

Re: RPM/Speed Data?

Well, Ford does have a PID that reports the torque converter in/out ratio, $11BA. If other manufacturers also report this you could program up an xgauge for it. You can't, unfortunately, do math with another PID. I thought it would be neat to have BSFC and hence engine efficiency, but that would have to be coded in the firmware.

Re: RPM/Speed Data?

Maybe in a future firmware update? It might be nice if people could easily compare overall gearing.
