When I got home from Hybridfest.....
a 2000 mile 1-way drive, the red 2005 Insight was a little dirty and had some dead insects pasted to the forward-facing bodywork. So after only being home a few hours, I:
1) washed the whole car
2) dried it off
3) re-polished the body with Zaino bros gloss enhancer
4) vacuumed the interior
5) put the vehicle up on 4 jack stands, and...
6) removed all 4 wheels
7) waxed the back side of wheels
8) thoroughly cleaned all wheel wells (big job)
9) wiped down entire underside of car
10) cleaned-detailed all brake calipers & discs
11) washed & detailed engine compartment, top & bottom
12) cleaned all windows, inside & out
After all, this is CLEANmpg.com !!

Re: When I got home from Hybridfest.....
I ran the mazda thru one of those touchless car wash the other day. Even got the bottom spray jet feature. Kind if tickled.

Re: When I got home from Hybridfest.....
And my kids think I'm obsessive?
However, I have to say that's one sweet looking Insight, Billy. And nice driving, too.
When I got back from HybridFest, I got to cut up a tree in the driveway that blew over the day I flew out.
