What is your car's MPG/MPH crossover value?
As you go faster, your mph goes up and your mpg goes down. At what speed does your MPG and your MPH both read the same? At a temp of 85F to 90F, this crossover point is at about 75 for my aero-modded 92 Civic.

Re: What is your car's MPG/MPH crossover value?
Dunno. My speed never gets close to my MPG.
Hobbit once suggested a "63 at 63" motto for highway driving in the Prius. I haven't tracked it in my car as precisely as he has (largely because I mostly stay off the highway these days), but I suspect that's pretty close for me in warm weather. I'll have a better handle on it after my trip to Hybridfest. I'll be logging data on my PC via Can-View during the drive.

Re: What is your car's MPG/MPH crossover value?
Wish it were 75 at 75 but its more like 60 at 60 - either way when Im there my license plate is accurate: 1 GPH
My 65mph highway segments tend to be 60mpg or lower, while my 55mpg segments are usually 65mpg or higher ==> so between 55 and 65mph

At 65mph I'm at 89mpg and at 55mph its at 97mpg, but I haven't been able to get it any higher than that at lower speeds.

Re: What is your car's MPG/MPH crossover value?
my license plate frame says 55MPH=55MPG. that's pretty close, though lately i have been able to hold 60/60. 45MPH always gets me more.

Um, in my non-hybrid vehicle I think the crossover point is just over 40.

Mine seems to be around 60mph, plus or minus.

Re: What is your car's MPG/MPH crossover value?
I'd agree with the 60/60 for the HCH-II, though with distant drafting I just did a long trip where the crossover was around 62-63.

Re: What is your car's MPG/MPH crossover value?
I don't do a lot of highway driving in the summer, but from what I have done it seems to be around 60/60. In the winter on clear roads more like 50/50. If I could do 70/70 I wouldn't mind those trips home on the highway.
