Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…
It was a Winter Wonderland for some very fortunate Boys and Girls Club of America kids who thanks to Lexus were invited to a very unique setting at Lexus HQ in Torrance, CA to participate in what some may have never experienced before.
Brian Smith, Lexus VP of Marketing: “This whole idea came from our year end event we called “Get Out There” and it was all about reminding people that in all of the hustle and bustle of the holidays, it’s important to disconnect from your computer, stop all your shopping and remember it’s about friends and family.”
It's a Snow Day!
The YouTube description describes it as shutting down their social media channels for a weekend to give the PR and marketing group a chance to get out there and spread some cheer with friends.
The company invited the Boys and Girls Club of South Bay to their Lexus headquarters for a Snow Day, transforming our campus into a winter wonderland with tons and tons of snow for the kids to play in!
Nancy Hubbell, Lexus Prestige Communications Manager: “Our goal with this promotion was to raise $100,000 through the month of December but because of our fan support, we already hit our $100,000 goal. So what we have decided to do is extend that and now we are shooting for $200,000."
Does it look like fun? You bet it does!
Cool Lexus and thank you for inspiring us to “
check in for charity and do a great thing!”
The Lexus LFA in attendance was simply an additional Christmas present for those old enough to know
