The all-new 2013 Ram 1500 has arrived.

Following on the heels of the DART launch and drive away promotions held nationwide a few months back (Hundreds of 2013 Dodge Dart’s Drive Away From Texas Motor Speedway), more than 250 2013 Ram 1500 trucks were driven away by dealers from Texas and bordering states this morning as part of the automaker's Drive Away event at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center.

The event is the first of several across the country that the automaker is hosting as part of the vehicle’s official launch.

The vehicles coming out today are 2013 Ram 1500 Lone Star and Big Horn editions, the most popular Ram models in the State of Texas. Depending on the dealer, Carr said, the vehicles being driven away today will be available for test drives and sale this afternoon.

The 2013 Ram 1500 is available in nine trim levels and starts at $23,585 including a $995 destination charge.

Dealers outside of Texas participating in the event were from Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana.

The 2013 Ram 1500 is not just setting a new standard for the industry, “It Is The Standard of the Industry” in no uncertain terms.

well, that stinks.... so what did you drive at the WI rally? i'm not recalling which model ya drove.... but if you did not drive the HFE model, i wonder what that bad boy gets if you hit 40mpg in the model you drove. WOOT

It was a 13 RAM 1500 quad cab 4x4 with the 3.6L Pentastar and RAMBOX. It also had the 115V outlet up front so it could have been the SLT or Outdoorsman if I am reading the 2013 RAM 1500 feature availability and tow charts correctly? To many vehicles and not enough time at the Fall Rally to write the darn trim down
