2014 Mazda6 with i-Activsense

We may not receive all or may even receive more of these advanced safety features.

2014 Mazda6 Intro and "i-ACTIVSENSE" in video. I should invest in a new mic

Mazda’s “i-ACTIVSENSE” safety technologies took center stage at the Paris Auto Show as it is being prepped to go on sale later this year within the all-new 2014 Mazda6.

Mazda’s “i-ACTIVSENSE” is a group of advanced safety technologies which make use of detection devices such as milliwave radars and cameras. They includes active safety technologies that help the driver recognize potential hazards, and pre-crash safety technologies which help avert collisions or reduce their severity in situations where they cannot be avoided.

The all-new Mazda6 will be equipped with the full range of “i-ACTIVSENSE” technologies that deliver excellent safety performance over a wide range of driving conditions.

The safety R&D is based upon the company’s safety philosophy which aims to minimize the risk of an accident by maximizing the range of conditions in which the driver can safely operate the vehicle.

The ultimate goal of Mazda Proactive Safety is to realize collision-free driving. In pursuit of this ideal Mazda will continue to expand its research and development of safety technologies in order to provide customers with both driving pleasure and outstanding environmental and safety performance.

And like the last graphic I placed in the video, the all-new Mazda6 is not only exciting to look at, with SKYACTIV technologies at the forefront, it is also fuel effacement and safer than ever before.

The "i-ACTIVSENSE" features highlighted in the video include the following:
  • Radar Cruise Control
  • "Smart Brake Support"
  • Forward Obstruction Warning
  • Smart City Brake Support
  • High-Beam Control System
  • Lane Departure Warning System
  • Rear Vehicle Monitoring
  • Adaptive Front-lighting System
For more, consider the rest of the story on the 2014 Mazda6…
As discussed previously, Mazda is charting its own path and in the process, we are very much looking forward to this new chapter in Mazda’s renaissance.
