2013 Nissan Sentra – Price TBA while it provides its upcoming owners a class competitive 30/40 mpgUS city/highway rating for the FE + S and FE + SV trims.
Nissan has begun producing the much anticipated all-new 2013 Sentra at its Aguascalientes 1 manufacturing plant in Mexico. The 4th generation Sentra includes a stylish and modern all new interior and exterior design, increased fuel economy and additional safety features.
Nissan states they have invested more than $150 million USD to retool the plant for the launch of this next generation model. The Sentra produced in Mιxico will be exported to more than 20 countries.
The first 2013 Sentra was produced on Aug. 30.
In addition, Nissan's manufacturing plant in Canton, MS will also produce the 2013 Nissan Sentra with production slated to begin this coming winter. The two plants should be able to supply a greater volume of the all-new Sentra than ever before, satisfying consumer appetite for fuel-efficient and stylish C-segment automobiles.
On the jobs front, Nissan Mexicana is in the midst of constructing a new $2-billion USD manufacturing complex in Aguascalientes, Mexico (Aguascalientes 2) and is recruiting more than 3,000 employees to kick-start the operation by the close of 2013. Aguascalientes 2 will produce B Platform cars like the upcoming Versa to meet fast-growing demand for compact cars in the domestic and export markets.
