The driver of this Nissan LEAF decided to pull into a full-serve gas station in Rio just to see what would happen. And like we did not know, this was going to be good
The attendants did their best to find a way to refill the car. Little did they know that LEAF is not a gasoline, diesel or ethanol fueled car. Or maybe they did but decided to play along for effect?
From June 13th through the 22nd, the Nissan was in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for Rio+20 demonstrating EVs are a real and affordable solution for sustainable transportation.
According to the PR, Nissan ran an EV shuttle for the UN delegates and had its EVs on display at the HSBC Arena where the public could sign up for test drives.
In a similar light, does anyone remember our own Mike Sirach and the LEAF at a gas pump in Tennessee?
