Re: Valvoline Nextgen

Been seeing it at autozone for a while, and yea they have $20 rebate on a gallon. Or 5qts or something.

Sounds like a good idea, reuse the old oil. I'm sure they tested it and all. Just wondering about real world use.

Re: Valvoline Nextgen

yeah, run it thru a coffee filter, replenish the additives and you are set to go.. perhaps add some green dye

Imagine if it was half the price of virgin oil.

Re: Valvoline Nextgen

call me a sucker, I ordered some. Got enough small engines that are due for an oil change, I'll run it in them. $20 gift card per gallon, limit 2. And $25 store gift card for orders of $100, free shipping over $75. A couple gallons and a few other parts later my bill was $101 and I'll get $65 in store gift cards for later.

Go to bobistheoilguy.com and poke around. They will have some information about the oil.

Re: Valvoline Nextgen

I have 3 jugs in queue for my next oil change. I got them completely free as Advance Auto had them on sale for $20 2 months ago.
