Good luck James! And good job Andrew, getting back to status quo.
I had an excellent morning on the road with the light traffic and the traffic lights .
53.8 / 2.2 home to Rosalunds for last body shop estimate, agreed on quote
52.7 / 2.4 Rosalunds to home to get cash deposit
54.2 / 2.1 home back to Rosalunds to drop off deposit
53.6 / 4.2 Rosalunds to campus, where I am now, and getting back to work...
Tank is at 41.8 / 646.5, DTE 64.3 needle still above E, no LFL this morning.

Re: Week of April 9th - April 15th, 2012 (Nat Avg $3.95)
Hah! Another trip to do shopping and have another driving lesson. This time it was 2-up. 57km round trip, with a long stop at my mom's place and a somewhat shorter one at a supermarket. And some even shorter. (Oh, I forgot the weather: 10 and 14-17C / 50;57-63F with normally crazy wind mostly from the side, very light drizzle on the way back.)
And the good news: I got the stickers I've been planning for... a long time. It's ShiNIN's design, based on my twisted idea
Is there a topic for stickers and the (probably necessary) explanation?
Warning! Spoilers for Puella Magi Madoka Magica):
Kyubey (the foxrabbit-like creature) is an alien who collects energy from Earth, using young girls' emotions as energy source (the girls suffer and eventually die in the process, or even worse things happen to them). And he likes to avoid wasting energy very much, he even ate his own corpse when one of the tortured girls shot him to Swiss cheese. Then he said what the runes say in the second line: "Waste not want not" (yes, there is a complete alphabet of them).
There are five girls in the main cast, representing the flowers of the Insight ecodriving game. One segment is missing, so I'm not perfect at it - and headless Tomoe Mami is a meme anyway
We're going to visit an animecon this weekend, so I'll surely meet people who'll get it

Re: Week of April 9th - April 15th, 2012 (Nat Avg $3.95)
Yeah, I do the best to avoid short trips and force Teresa into 2-up rides to ensure my and Cili's "let's beat Teresa" plan will reach its success as soon as possible...
(It was cold and windy and I like to study what Alvaro is doing sometimes, I really plan to use my own bike from now on.)
I was lazy, next time I will upload multiple tanks, 2 escaped its fate this far.
There will be nice trips in this year The house required all our money but we will have joyful little holidays with our beloved bikes.
I never has a real, normal 'nice weather and long tour and I'm not even very lame' tank without the windshield, I have to make one. There's a chance it will be my best - it seems my little bike is better without the big windshield. A 61% 2-up tank became so good only my best (and of course, 1-up) tanks are better... But I need the windshield. I'm so slow in windy days without it. And wind is so frequent here.
I feel I'm is better this year, I mean, more confident, not so illogically overcautious. And it's very important in hypermiling, at least in my case, I'm quite sure my skills are much better than my bravery I will never be patient enough to ride very slowly but my favourite very curvy roads with confidence will be both joyous and fuel efficient I can't brake just because of a sharp turn...

Re : Week of April 9th - April 15th, 2012 (Nat Avg $3.95)
Alvaro, pretty sticker.
Today: - 20.0mi @ 73.2mpgUS 8°C=46°F
- 23.8mi @ 66.3mpgUS 13°C=55°F 18mph head wind

Today: 43.8mi @ 69.3mpgUS
The 2x160mi highway trip, for a 30 minutes presentation, is confirmed for Friday...
During 1st trip after last fill-up I verified that mpg displayed by Torque was closed to the one displayed by the MFD, but it seams that there is a problem since. In fact while at 1st trip the reported distance was 2% shorter, since it's 4% longer (from +0.5% to +6.7%)... and final Torque mpg seams to be 3% too high compared to MFD.
I ordered an OBD2 splitter. I'll be able to track trip, daily, tank mpg with my SGII while having a bigger 8 gauges display with Torque, hoping they'll nor interact, not crash the CAN bus
Denis.

Re: Week of April 9th - April 15th, 2012 (Nat Avg $3.95)
Not too bad today...considering the very cool temps this morning. Awhile back, there was a discussion somewhere here on CleanMPG about getting over 100 mpg below the freezing mark. I solidly met that goal today. It was 29F this morning and wind was NW@ 5-10 mph. This afternoon it was 52F and wind was NNW@ 5-10 mph. I tried something new this afternoon when I left work. Instead of my usual wait until 2:40pm (quitting time is 2:30) for traffic to clear, I got out of the parking lot as quickly as I could (while still hypermiling...of course ) and got a jump on the traffic that I usually wait for; it payed off.
110.6 11.8-to work
120.3 11.6-back home
Day Total: 115.2mpg over 23.4 miles. The tank is up to 110.6 after 78.5 miles with 20 of 20 bars on the gauge.

That "bike " certainly isn't what I had pictured in my mind. Nice look small motor.

Re: Week of April 9th - April 15th, 2012 (Nat Avg $3.95)
52.3/55.0 miles home from school 54F 5-10 mph wind from NNW.
46.6/23.8 miles to town and back plus taking my son to baseball practice.
Edit: Just went and picked my son up from baseball practice. Because of where I live, I never make short trips like this, so this was something special for me.
67.0/1.7 miles round trip.
