Re: Toyota February 2012 Sales Up 12.4%
Go Prius!
Wish they would break out v (and next month PHV and c, as well).
Hard to compare PHEV sales if one of them is bundled...
From priuschat tweet: about 4000 were v, so LB up 22%. Still sweet.

Re: Toyota February 2012 Sales Up 12.4%
There's only been 3 times that more Priuses have been sold in a month:
- The record month of May 2007 (24009)
- March 2008 (20635)
- April 2008 (21757).
Taking Prius liftback sales as 16517 (February 2011 * 1.22), this is its 10th best sales month (and its best February):
- March 2011 (18605) (the quake rush and gas jump)
- August 2009 (18866) (Gen 3 and CARS month 2)
- July 2009 (19173) (Gen 3 and CARS month 1)
- April 2008 (21757)
- March 2008 (20635)
- November 2007 (16737)
- June 2007 (17756)
- May 2007 (24009)
- March 2007 (19156)
Next month they'll be adding Prius c and PiP sales.

Re: Toyota February 2012 Sales Up 12.4%
Hi All:
We have covered US and Canadian February 2012 sales. Here is an interesting look at what Toyota is doing in the Land Down Under.
Toyota sold at least 50 percent more vehicles in Australia last month than any other automotive company, according to official figures released tomorrow That would be the 5th in Australia.
Dealers delivered more than 14,800 cars, SUVs and light-commercial vehicles to customers during the shortest month of the year while its nearest rival sold fewer than 9,700 vehicles.
In just the first two months of the year, Toyota has built a commanding sales lead of more than 10,000 vehicles.
The Prius family will soon be expanded to three models with the imminent arrival of the compact Prius c city car to be followed in a few months by the larger and more versatile Prius v.
The two new fuel-efficient vehicles will join the world's best-selling hybrid car, the Prius hatch, which itself is about to gain refinements to its quality, performance and overall appeal.
Toyota is also gearing up to launch the built in Australia all-new Camry Hybrid.

Re: Toyota February 2012 Sales Up 12.4%
Hi All:
I received an updated Toyota sales report a few hours ago with some minor hybrid sales changes (+ to - 3 to 16 units) that have now been incorporated into the above Toyota specific sales table.
