Re: Week of December 26th - January 1st, 2012 (Nat Avg $3.23)
Afternoon: I was in a hurry, so I got some extra work in the last minute and a red light at the railway crossing, right in my face (=not very hard braking, but unfortunately had to use it). Still did not waste fuel on speeding, PSL was scary enough on those roads in the dark so I slowed down to my normal pace
Then picked shiNIN up, and went to the mayor's office at the village. And we saved them, now our little settlement has officially 2000 inhabitants, which is some kind of limit to keep the office working or so
It was a long stop so in the end it counts as 2 trips, I guess: one 28km and one 5km, or something similar. Temps were ~1C (34F) but the second trip was so short (and my speed low, never over 60km/h ~37mph) I didn't even need glove heating.
Morning: short route, 22km, -1C (30F), clear. Strange that I was cold. It could be the wind from the south (headwind).

Back to work for one day.
73.6 mpg / 10.5 mi - to work, 46F and drippy damp humid
The tank is at 73 mpg / 812 miles and just about empty (sometimes low fuel light).

Haven't been far today. Took the Jazz to the doctors followed by 2 separate stores and then back home, so 4 trips for a total of:

Great work Jason - have a nice day off Monday - that's my last day off too!.
Looks like you'll have too fill soon Andrew - great tank for December!
Last update for 2011
Missed a short run 5UP to a local restaurant in the rain and back the other day (we were going to walk but the rain was terrible!):
31.9 / 2.7
Had a run out 5UP to Newark today, decent run, mild 48°F:
59.4 / 27.4
Came back a different way - not too bad even though it was a bit hilly, milder 52 - 54°F:
56.6 / 26.9
Nearly 58 for the total trip - a nice finish to the year
Tank UP at 56.2 / 157.5 / DTE704

Re: Week of December 26th - January 1st, 2012 (Nat Avg $3.23)
Just the usual, except that it was -4.5C (24F) on the terrace. This was the first time that I felt my butt cold on the seat.
But it was not only cold but pretty dry too, so there was no problem.
Tank left 200km, last year was a bit more than 19000.

Re: Week of December 26th - January 1st, 2012 (Nat Avg $3.23)
Not done any driving today. Have given both Honda's a deep clean in and out and then we are having a New Year's party at our house in an hour.
Hope you all have a great New Year's Day and I'm looking forward to even better FE in 2012!
