I-495 in MA is crazy. Actually all MA drivers tailgate like crazy. The thought around here is that people will cut in front of you if you leave too much room. I used to think this way. The reality is some will but most won't. Those that will, well they will cut you off even if you give them 1/2 a car length, so let'em get in front of you so they are not slamming into your rear!

While it is a balmy102 degrees F here in Wadsworth, IL this afternoon, I thought now would be an appropriate time to bring back some snow pics. While the topic still disgusts, the snow might add a little relief for those in the US and around the world that are getting beat by the incessantly high temps that this summer has brought forth so far.
Hartt Transport on I-495 NB in MA - Way to close in the snow even at 55 mph!

Speed was 70 mph on I-24 S near Brockton, MA. This big rig driver was originallytailgating me and likely an owner operator.
Dutch Transport Inc. added to the Hall of Shame...

Others submissions although when I drive anywhere in the Northeast corridor, I see it more than just about anywhere else. Chicago is really bad at rush but before, between and after, it calms down quite a bit.
