Re: The Danger That Lurks - Real World Traffic Case Studies
I-495 in MA is crazy. Actually all MA drivers tailgate like crazy. The thought around here is that people will cut in front of you if you leave too much room. I used to think this way. The reality is some will but most won't. Those that will, well they will cut you off even if you give them 1/2 a car length, so let'em get in front of you so they are not slamming into your rear!

People carrier smashes through building after driver collapses at the wheel.
'It was more like something out of a Hollywood film - the guy is incredibly lucky to walk away from that'
Check this video out - amazing!

Re: The Danger That Lurks - Real World Traffic Case Studies
Hi All:
While it is a balmy102 degrees F here in Wadsworth, IL this afternoon, I thought now would be an appropriate time to bring back some snow pics. While the topic still disgusts, the snow might add a little relief for those in the US and around the world that are getting beat by the incessantly high temps that this summer has brought forth so far.

Hartt Transport on I-495 NB in MA - Way to close in the snow even at 55 mph!

Re: The Danger That Lurks - Real World Traffic Case Studies
Hi All:
Speed was 70 mph on I-24 S near Brockton, MA. This big rig driver was originallytailgating me and likely an owner operator.

Dutch Transport Inc. added to the Hall of Shame...

Wayne, is this you driving in my backyard or some else sending you submissions?
People get angry around here if you leave proper following distance. It is crazy.

Re: The Danger That Lurks - Real World Traffic Case Studies
Hi CRT1:
Others submissions although when I drive anywhere in the Northeast corridor, I see it more than just about anywhere else. Chicago is really bad at rush but before, between and after, it calms down quite a bit.

Re: The Danger That Lurks - Real World Traffic Case Studies
After driving in Chicago for a week I had never seen such laid back drivers at any hour!
