How's your back?

She went back to the surgeon today. He said everything was looking good and said he thought maybe by about Tuesday the drainage tubes and part of the clamps could be removed.
My back is still sore and last night I was having pretty severe pain in both legs (took 2 muscle relaxers along with the morphine and was still hurting), but it's been a little better today. Maybe when things get settled back down and to normal it'll clear up again.

Re: Remember My Wife
Sciatica? You know, a couple of years ago I herniated the L4-L5 disk and had similar symptoms (referred pain all the way down my left hamstring -- felt like a severe pull) and addressed it with VAX-D ( http://www.vax-d.com/). I had to pay for it out of pocket because it isn't a recognized treatment by most insurance providers (they'll pay for a $30K+ back surgery but not less than 1/10 the cost for VAX-D??) but it worked in a non-invasive manner and without medication. As long as I keep up the (very minor) exercising routine I'm pain free and can do everything I did before the injury.
The treatment is also good for chronic back pain and failed back surgery patients.
I hope everything continues to get better!!

My wife has recently started doing some light yoga and has found it helping with her back pain a bit (amongst other improvements).

Re: Remember My Wife
My wife went to the cancer Dr. yesterday. The Dr. said the cancer had been caught early and was only a small mass. She said she didn't think it would be necessary for her to have any chemotherapy or radiation, but was going to run more tests on the tissue removed to be certain.

Re: Remember My Wife
Excellent, especially given the earlier post saying that it had spread within the breast. I hope the oncologist is correct and it has stayed in the breast.
