CleanMPG friendly movie: Children of Men
I was tempted to post it as a review, but it has little to do with driving or gasoline.
Just finished watching "Children of Men" last night. Great movie, thumbs-up. The synopsis is about a global infertility pandemic that strikes in 2009, and how the world deteriorates without the motivation of future generations. The movie is set 18 years after the last recorded birth of a child. There are some rather obvious social commentaries, but the are veiled enough that if you just "watch-it" that won't stand out or effect the plot.
Some interesting things to note is that there seems to be an eluded too that the movie takes place after peak oil. All cars modes of transit are electric.
If you check it out, look at the extra features. There is lots of stuff there about global warming and Oil Wars.
Anyway... check it out if you have a chance.
