2011 LF-Gh Hybrid Concept – Rear Highlight
LF-Gh Hybrid Concept – Stylish, assertive, aggressive, bold… The only thing missing is “
Driving Pleasure”
While still catching up from the San Diego Toyota Sustainability trip, there is a lot of cool news left on the table…
Lexus’ all-new LF-Gh hybrid concept will make its world debut at the 2011 New York International Auto Show in less than two weeks as the brand begins a new era of advanced styling
and design. And this is of course something that has unfortunately been missing from Toyota’s luxury arm in recent years.
According to Toyota, the LF-Gh stands for “
Lexus Future Grand Touring Hybrid” and they believe this will redefine the grand touring sedan. The early 2000’s L-Finesse philosophy will of course be incorporated into the design but as of late, that blueprint has not been firing on all available cylinders. Lexus is simply attempting to move their brand to a new plateau with a more refined and distinct idea of what a luxury car could be. The result is the LF-Gh concept, which may or may not resonate with the North American public? If it does however, expect whatever the full design language looks like to be part of Lexus vehicles in the future.
The new concept will be on display in the Lexus exhibit at the New York International Auto Show from April 20 – May 1, 2011 and we will be there to cover what is released.
