I have a case open with Toyota regarding this LARGE discrepancy. I opened it in July of 2009 and nothing has been done. I call every couple of months and they haven't shown any interest.
My surprise has to do with the 0.02 at idle. I had thought there might be some built in offset that would not allow the GPH to go to 0.00, but to my surprise this is not correct.
The GPH can go to zero even at 50 mph! I am experiencing this every day on my commute now.
