Brake Bleed

Hi Folks - So I replaced the brake pads the other day. Brakes feel mushier, so I imagine I need to pay some attention to the brake fluid. Any thoughts on a neighborhood mechanic or big-box mechanic doing a bleed and fill. 2006HCH2. The honda dealership is great, but a pain to get to.

Re: Brake Bleed

Why not do it yourself? Its a 15 min job requiring 2 ft of tubing and 1 wrench if you have either a bleeder bottle or somebody to stand on the pedal for you.

Re: Brake Bleed

I had my Honda dealer do it for 60 bucks. I was a bit scared to do it myself because of the anti-lock. Good place to trap air. Lots do it themselves thou. H
