Manufacturers are moving on from ICEs to Electric motorcycles

The November issue of Motorcyclist magazine is all about the state of the art of electric motorcycles. Turns out that many of the manufacturers are actively looking at electric to fill the performance market. Electric does what ICEs can't. Gobs of missle launching torque, smooth programmable power output and more.

One of the interesting things mentioned was that for each turn on a racetrack the bike can be programmed to deliver a defined amount of power or motor braking. Try that with your carbies. Pretty soon the programmers will be equal to the riders, the rider being the victim of the programmers mistakes or successes.

Anyway it's a good read and really showing that electric motorcycles are here to stay in a big way, and the sunsetting of ICE motorcycle development is on it's way.
