Dingell asks China not to push U.S. automakers to share electric vehicle technology

David Shepardson - DETROITNEWS - September 22, 2010

Michigan's senior member of Congress wants China to drop plans to force U.S. automakers to share electric vehicle technology.

Rep. John Dingell, D-Dearborn, said in a letter today to the Chinese ambassador to the United States, Zhang Yesui, that they should drop plans "to require foreign automakers to hand over electric vehicle technology to their Chinese competitors in exchange for market access in China."

Re: Dingell asks China not to push U.S. automakers to share electric vehicle technolo

If it were up to me, Trade waters with china would dry up so fast you'd think the world was ending. China has been giving us low blows since what they call their industrial revolution and the US has been taking each blow with a smile. When will we stop this free trade madness?? Why are we enslaving ourselves? All our money is going overseas!

Unfortunately, you used the wrong tense of the verb, Ricardo. All our money is gone overseas.
