Trip meter reading do not tally

Hi Guys,

The trip meter reading in my Scangauge do not tally with the readings in my vehicle.
The readings in my Scangauge is lower by around 5 KM for my past 3 fillups.
Is there anyway that we can calibrate this so both give the same readings?

Hi, Arcanum! You certainly can calibrate, though it may seem a bit unintuitive at first. Take the ratio of your ODO reading to the SG reading and figure out a percentage difference. once you've figured that out, apply it to the speed offset. The speed varies in a fixed ratio with the distance so the offset in one will apply directly to the other.
