What a day it was!
A bit of News about the site the past few days… While today is probably not sustainable, I just wanted to say thanks to the mods as we actually turned the home page over 2 complete times in the past 24-hours! That means over 30 stories posted to CleanMPG’s home page in the last 24 hours. Given Chris’ news from the 2010 NYIAS, the Federal Government doing their thing, the Auto Sales announcements and a number of great April Fools, NUMMI and General News Stories, I hope we did not overburden the membership with an overwhelming number of stories to read.
In the same light, if we see a story that is good, we cannot wait for the membership to catch up. I hope you understand that we are simply trying to upload the best Green Automobile, Environmental, Business related and Fun News available. In some cases we are first, in some cases we are last but we are trying to be first a whole lot more than last to make your time here enjoyable from the first click to the last.
Finally and although this means little to many who have tens of thousands of followers on Twitter, we have sustained over 200 followers for the last 3 days and who knows, maybe this Twitter/Tweet thing will be a big deal someday

Thanks again to the mods for their patience, time and effort as well as the excellent membership that visits CleanMPG whenever they feel the need to get buried in Interesting Automobile related stories and such.
I think I will try and get to bed early as tomorrow is another day with more stories to read and post if they are worth our time and yours. Nah, we have a number of Friday News items on North American Rail Freight traffic, Crude Oil, Gasoline and Diesel costs, a few more sales numbers and who knows what else will head our way tomorrow
